Terms and Conditions
Rescheduling and Cancellation
1. The cancellation policy is that you can cancel 24 hours prior to the start of the class. If cancelled
within 24 hours prior to the class, it is considered completed and is non-refundable.
2. If you cancel 24 hours prior to the class, you can reschedule.
3. The teacher has a 10 minute time limit to get to class after it has started. If the teacher does not
attend class at the agreed time after the 10 minute limit, the money paid for the class will be
refunded. If this happens you can send an email to contacto@tikalschool.com with the
following information: Teacher name, class name, and a screenshot of the time and schedule.
4. The student has a 15 minutes time limit to arrive to class after the agreed time. If the student
doesn't attend the class after 15 minutes, this is considered completed, and it won't be refunded.

Terms and Conditions
1. Students under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult during the first minutes of class
to confirm if the device and microphone are working correctly as well as the internet.
2. Tikal Language School is not responsible for the student having the necessary requirements to
take classes and students will not be refunded due to technical issues. Technical requirements:
Strong internet connection, an appropriate device and microphone; no cell phones)
3. Promotions and discounts have a validity period.
4. If the teacher has a bad internet connection that prevents a satisfactory completion of the class,
the class will be canceled and you will be given a refund code to reschedule the class.
5. If the teacher is a couple minutes late, the teacher must make up the late time in class.
6. If the student is late, the amount of late time will not be compensated.
7. If the student decides to finish the class early it will be marked as complete, any remaining time
will not be refunded.
8. The teacher-student relationship should have respect, patience, and kindness. As well as
respecting the values, traditions, and cultures of each other.
9. Offensive language directed at teachers and/or other students will not be tolerated.
10. Teachers are not allowed to question students about their religion, political affiliations, sexual
preference, and marital status. Unless the student specifically requests it.
11. Students are not allowed to question their teachers about their religion, political affiliations,
sexual preference, and marital status.
